• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Cancer or Chemotherapy (light sensitivity)
• Users of Accutane within last 6 months
• Users of prescription Vitamin A (Retin-A or Tretinoin) in the last 2 weeks
• Active Infections/virus (herpes) or inflammation at the treatment site
• Tanned or sunburned skin
• Epilepsy
• Surgical metal pins or plates under tissue to be treated
• Photosensitising medication or St. John's Wort in the past month
• Avoid the use of physical exfoliants or active skin care for 72hrs post treatment
• Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, IPL/laser on the area treated (2 weeks)
• Avoid swimming, spa, saunas, hot showers and excessive sweating for 24-48hrs post treatment
• Apply SPF 30+ everyday and avoid direct sun exposure
Carbon Facial treatment combines laser/IPL technology with a special carbon cream applied to the facial region. The laser/IPL and carbon cream work in synergy to reduce skin imperfections such as enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, acne and expression lines, while also purifying and toning skin for an instantly radiant complexion.
Treatment is quick, non-invasive, and there’s no post-treatment downtime — so you can get back to work or your usual daily activities following your session. Some redness may occur, which will usually subside within a few hours and may be covered up with light makeup.
