Not at all. Microdermabrasion mechanically removes the outer layer of dead skin cells. HydraFacial will also achieve this type of exfoliation but in a much gentler way due to the patented Vortex-Fusion technology. We don’t believe in quick fixes. HydraFacial delivers immediate results and many clients report seeing visible improvements in skin tone or texture after just one treatment. Skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on skin sensitivity. You may experience tingling and stinging in the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within a few hours.

You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin may feel smooth and hydrated for 1-4 weeks with appropriate homecare to maintain treatment results. Skin is more susceptible to sunburn or son damage. Avoid excessive sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen.
